Créations en Urgence

MAR is a residency and rest space located in Eresos, Lesbos. We welcome artists, queer and feminist activists in forced migration or living in countries in crisis and seeking to rest and develop their work.

CeU is counting on the solidarity of volunteers and artists to support their counterparts. 

Our funding consists especially of private donations. Créations en urgence needs each and every one of you. The funds collected are used to carry out our mission. Each donation and each purchase of an artwork helps to maintain creativity at a particularly fragile and sometimes long-lasting moment.

We are proud to present the second cohort of residents in Lesbos. The jury selected six artists & activists to participate in the HOULE PROGRAM II: Bochra Triki ,Cindy Chehab, Ghadir Shafie, Taziri Al-Omrani, Khookha McQueer, Bassem Ben Brahim 

From December 4 to 20, 2025, Créations en Urgence is launching an online artwork sale for Magnolia Art Residency. The residency, which is still in the process of being set up, needs to raise €10,000 to finish the year 2025. 

Our new flagship project, Magnolia Art Residency, is a 500m² haven of peace on the island of Lesbos. It welcomes artists, queer and feminist activists who need time to rest, create and rebuild.

The teams of @maanforgaza, @creationsenurgence, @ateliersjeannebarret, @art_cadegalerie warmly thank the 143 artists who donated their work. Thanks to everyone, we raised €13,500 for the artists of Gaza.

Emergency Creations has made its first transfer of €1000 to two artists in Gaza via the Qattan Foundation.  

Thanks to you, we have raised 10,100 euros from the Generosity at every level #3 campaign. This money will be used to support our mission.

The crowdfunding campaign to benefit students of the Plastic Arts department of the Lebanese University ended on April 15, 2021. Thanks to all of you, 56 students each received the sum of $500.
