Créations en Urgence

MAR is a residency and rest space located in Eresos, Lesbos. We welcome artists, intellectuals, queer activists and feminists at risk, especially people in situations of forced migration, living in countries in crisis and seeking to rest and develop their work.

CEU is counting on the solidarity of volunteers and artists to support their counterparts. 

Our funding consists entirely of private donations. Créations en urgence needs each and every one of you. The funds collected are used to carry out our mission. Each donation and each purchase of a work helps to maintain creativity at a particularly fragile and sometimes long-lasting moment.

Our new flagship project, Magnolia Art Residency, is a 500m² haven of peace on the island of Lesbos. It welcomes queer and feminist artists, intellectuals and activists who need time to rest, create and rebuild.

The teams of @maanforgaza, @creationsenurgence, @ateliersjeannebarret, @art_cadegalerie warmly thank the 143 artists who donated their work. Thanks to everyone, we raised €13,500 for the artists of Gaza.

Emergency Creations has made its first transfer of €1000 to two artists in Gaza via the Qattan Foundation.  

Thanks to you, we have raised 10,100 euros from the Generosity at every level #3 campaign. This money will be used to support our mission.

The crowdfunding campaign to benefit students of the Plastic Arts department of the Lebanese University ended on April 15, 2021. Thanks to all of you, 56 students each received the sum of $500.
